Napa Valley Seed Library

We are proud sponsors of the Napa Valley Seed Library, a free public resource dedicated to growing, saving, and sharing locally adapted, organic seeds for the benefit of Napa County residents. Led by a mother and daughter of African-American, Indigenous, and Russian-Jewish heritage, the Seed Library invigorates well-being, local food systems, and regenerative habitats within the community through the practice of seed keeping.

ROwdy girl sanctuary

We are proud supporters of Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) organization that made history as the first beef cattle ranch to transition into a vegan sanctuary. Founded on February 20, 2015, by Renee King-Sonnen, the sanctuary represents a shift from traditional ranching to compassionate care for animals typically raised for food. Renee’s journey to veganism led her to launch a successful fundraiser that allowed her to purchase her husband’s herd and dedicate them to the sanctuary. Today, Renee and her husband, Tommy, who is also vegan, care for around 80 rescued animals.

Rowdy Girl Sanctuary relies on donations to sustain its mission, from building enclosures to providing food and veterinary care. Your support helps ensure a safe and loving environment for these animals.

sanctuary DOC

Sanctuary Doc tells visual stories of compassion for animals within our world’s biggest challenges. A non-profit multimedia project, Sanctuary Doc illuminates the major issues facing our world today by focusing on animals and the people who rescue them. From war and conflict, animal farming, deforestation, climate change, animal labor, the exotic pet trade, to homelessness and natural disasters, our goal is to document examples of compassion between humans and non-human animals.
